Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
The Greek word dunamis is used 120 times in the New Testament. Loosely, the word refers to “strength, power, or ability.
Last summer, I helped run the online youth conference for Dunamis (The Greek word dunamis is used 120 times in the New Testament. Loosely, the word refers to “strength, power, or ability), a prayer ministry of PRMI (Presbyterian Reformed Ministries International) focused on helping believers understand and partner with the Holy Spirit more effectively for their personal growth and ministry. My missional friend Matt Ferguson is in charge of running the more intensive curriculum locally in Prague. The course-work is presented in 6 mini-conferences, and we just had the second of the series which is focused on partnership with the holy spirit. This is an area where I have always felt weak in my faith. I attended the first conference in the Fall of 2022 and now this one in the Spring. I was asked by Matt to participate as an intercessor which are people who are praying over the conference while it is happening and helping to discern what the Holy Spirit is saying or doing at the event. I felt a few things, nothing sensational, but when checking with the other intercessors, these words were confirmed.
This is an area that I see as Biblical but feel under-trained in and hope to grow in this through working with this ministry. This is not a primary ministry focus for me, but has been helpful to me and I think will become a more important and sought after tool in training the church in Czech.
