June 2022 Ukraine Update

The war in Ukraine and the subsequent crisis throughout Europe is still ongoing, however the initial brunt impact has started to lessen and go from crisis relief to ongoing humanitarian support. Many of JV's staff are still directly affected or involved in these efforts, our leadership has told our organization to refocus on our original mission. Our crisis relief fund is still open and taking donations as we are still helping refugees and sending buses of food and medical supplies to the front. I also know of one refugee mother who had her retinas detach while she was in the Czech and the crisis fund was able to cover the surgery she needed.

But as we pivot our main focus away from this ongoing situation, I wanted to share a few stories and stats to share how JV as a whole and those who donated to the crisis relief fund impacted the relief efforts as of May 25, 2022.
