There are so many needs in the world, especially in regards to the Gospel. Why are we spending time in Europe? What needs could they have? Europe, including the Czech Republic, are part of the western world. Despite decades under oppressive Communism, the Czech Republic has made quick work of expanding their economy and becoming a productive member of the global community. They are materially wealthy but they are in spiritual poverty. The Czech has a rich spiritual heritage with patriarchs like the reformation martyr Jan Hus (John Hus), the educational reformer Amos Komensky, and the global missional movement of the Moravian Brethren, but now, less than 1% of this 10 million person country have a personal relationship with Christ and it is one of the most atheistic countries in the world!
